Perceptions of Downtown Denver

Room for Improvement.
Respondents listed concerns about safety, cleanliness, parking and construction as deterrents to downtown – issues that Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, DDP and multiple stakeholders are actively working to address. Along with the Denver Police Department and social service providers, DDP is working diligently to ensure safety in the immediate term and advance long-term solutions. For example, Together We Will – an initiative convening local, state and federal partners – is focused on combining strong enforcement with a compassionate, community-based response.
